    Dear Jared,

I am your mom’s first cousin….my dad was your mom’s uncle and, therefore, your great uncle. Unfortunately, he died in 1990. We’ve lived in Canton IL since I was in the 2nd grade, & as a child I had always looked forward with great anticipation to going to Stanton ND for summer vacation….we had such a great time! We don’t get there nearly as often anymore, mostly for weddings & funerals. Thank you so very much for accepting me as your friend on facebo0k, & for posting your letters & Jaye’s memorial video….I am so very sorry about your brother’s death. As I’m sure you know, words cannot adequately express one’s true feelings, but I want you to know how grateful I am to you for giving me the opportunity to read your letters & watch your video….all of which are extremely awesome….& have given me great insight into who Jaye really was. I’m so sorry we never had the chance to get to know each other on earth but am so looking forward to seeing him in Heaven! Thanks a million, Jared!

    Love & Hugs,

    Dear Jared,
I google his name sometimes. to try find your old music, pictures of him(jaye). I found your site a few minutes ago and just felt like I needed to post since I don’t know of another immediate way to get ahold of you. You two helped make some of the best and most memorable years of my life and you two still are to date two of the most inspiring and influential people I’ve ever know. This world is a better place for both of you and I thank God for you and Jaye in my life.
You truly are a brother and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you and yours do in this world.
Thank you for your friendship and Godbless

    Dear Jarod,
My ten year reunion is coming up this year and got thrown into a Facebook group for it, hooray!! Thought I would drop you a line and let you know I still think about Jaye on a very regular basis. He touched my life in so many ways I can’t even begin to explain. My boys middle name is J partly for my fathers middle name, but very much in part to the fantastic friend that I had through high school. Please tell your parents hello and gratz on your daughter!
    Sincerely,
    Charlie Beauvais

Hey man, its been a while. Thanks for making the effort to reach out about Jaye. And thanks for taking the time to keep his memory alive, its tough to articulate how much that means to me.

Have fun at the reunion, tell everyone “hi”

    -peace
